About this scholarship
The Ohio Scholarship guarantees admitted Ohio students twenty-five thousand dollars per year for four years, totaling one hundred thousand dollars toward a Denison education. Incoming first-year and eligible transfer applicants with a permanent Ohio address or graduation from an Ohio public or private high school simply submit a complete admission application by December 1 for spring transfers or March 1 for fall transfers, with no separate scholarship form, application fee, or supplemental essay. Denison awards the highest-value Denison-funded scholarship when students qualify for multiple awards and still meets one hundred percent of demonstrated financial need beyond the Ohio Scholarship when families apply for aid.
