Ohio College Opportunity Grant

Ohio residents pursuing a first associate degree, first bachelor's degree, or nurse diploma at eligible Ohio institutions (and a handful of Pennsylvania schools) may receive the Ohio College Opportunity Grant. Eligible schools include Ohio public colleges and universities, Ohio private nonprofit colleges and universities, and Ohio private for-profit institutions.

Maximum annual awards vary by institution type and enrollment intensity, up to $5,000. Students must demonstrate high financial need on the FAFSA and meet state income/need thresholds used for the program.

Complete the FAFSA to be considered. The structured deadline is October 1, 2026; final eligibility and amounts depend on institution type and credit hours.
