About this scholarship
For current or former New Brunswick residents (five or more years in the province) who hold a university degree and are registered in an accredited master's or doctoral program at a recognized university in Canada or abroad. The degree must have a major research, creative, or professional training focus, with evidence of scholarly or creative work beyond coursework.
Up to ten one-time fellowships of up to $15,000 may be awarded (not based on financial need or age). Selection considers academic achievement and/or professional standing, character, and integrity, with possible preference for applicants who intend to return to New Brunswick after their studies. Applicants may be asked to interview, and fellows submit a report after the award year.
