Northwest Territories students attending law school who demonstrate commitment to the NWT through residency (3 or more years), NWT secondary schooling, intent to return, community involvement, or leadership may apply for NWT Law Foundation/Graeme Garson Scholarships.
Qualified students receive up to $2,000 per year for three law-school years, plus up to $7,000 per year for two post-articles years when practicing in the NWT ($20,000 total per qualified student).
