Graduating high school seniors who reside or attend school in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, or Philadelphia counties, with a minimum 2.0 GPA, accepted to a four-year college or university for a STEM major, may apply for the NSBE Greater Philadelphia Professionals Chapter (GPPC) STEM Futures Scholarship. Priority is given to applicants from underrepresented groups (Black/African American, Hispanic, Native American, Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islander, and/or persons with disabilities).
Three $1,000 scholarships are awarded. Recipients must attend the Scholarship Banquet.
Complete the application with an official report card or transcript, a college acceptance letter, and a 300 to 500 word essay on one of the posted prompts (academic and career goals, a leadership experience, representation of women and minorities in STEM, or using STEM education to improve society).
