Arizona resident incoming freshmen at Northern Arizona University who meet Arizona Proposition 300 public program eligibility, have not received a baccalaureate degree, enroll full-time, and attend the Flagstaff Mountain campus are automatically considered for the Lumberjack Scholars Award upon admission. Eligibility is based on completion or in-progress work in the 16 college-preparatory core courses required for admission and a minimum 3.75 unweighted core high school GPA, with no letter grade lower than a B in any required core course.
The structured award is $11,000 per year toward tuition. Recipients must maintain a 2.0 GPA. Accept the offer of admission and pay the enrollment deposit by May 1 for the following academic year; submit final high school transcripts as instructed in the award letter.
