NLN Nursing Education Scholarship Award

Master's and doctoral nursing students enrolled in accredited programs who have completed at least one full year of study and plan full-time nurse educator careers may apply. NLN membership (individual or through employer school) is required; multiple awards up to $8,000 are granted annually.

Funds support tuition, books, and research or project expenses for students preparing to teach nursing full time.

Apply via SurveyMonkey Apply (February through May each year). The 2026 cycle closed May 19, 2026; applications reopen February 2027. Proposals require introduction, program of study, NLN mission alignment, educator goals, two recommendation letters, budget narrative, and biosketch.
