U.S. citizens, nationals, or permanent residents enrolled or planning to enroll in an accredited HVAC technical program (associate degree, certificate, or diploma) may apply. Minimum 2.0 GPA required. Preference goes to high school seniors and students age 18-26.
The in-person track awards up to 30 scholarships of $2,500 annually for tuition and training costs. A separate online track sponsors up to 50 students with full virtual HVAC program tuition through SkillCat and GRIT Foundation.
In-person applications are always accepted for the next cycle; the 2026 window closed June 15. Online track had a March 2 through April 27, 2026 window now closed. Ten-step online application includes transcript, optional reference, essay or video, and headshot.

The O'Connor Institute awards $500 to 25 high school Ambassadors in grades 9 through 12 who complete meaningful community service and submit a service story through the free online Ambassadors Civics and Debate Club. Eligible service may include volunteering, organizing, advocacy, or supporting a local cause between January 1 and October 16, 2026. Students who are not yet members may join the Ambassadors club before applying. Winners are announced November 2, 2026 based on service impact and the story submitted.
Biennial international competition for high school students (grades 9–12 or ages 14–20) worldwide exploring bilingualism through research papers, creative writing portfolios, digital art series, or video projects. Submissions must include an English master version plus a native-language PDF, narrative bio, and signed consent form. Cash awards up to $500 overall excellence plus category placements; native-language PDF winners receive an additional $50 stipend. Free to enter; 2027 cycle deadline is October 16, 2026.
Bold.org exclusive memorial award honoring Dima Kapelkin and supporting religious or spiritual students pursuing mental health careers. One $1,000 winner. Ohio 529 CollegeAdvantage sports-partnership sweepstakes open to U.S. residents age 18 or older who agree to official rules. Furr and Monumental Honor award one $5,000 scholarship honoring Medal of Honor recipient James Mifflin to a Virginia student pursuing HVAC, plumbing, electrical, welding, construction, manufacturing, or another skilled trade or continuing-education program. Applicants email a completed application PDF with resume, 750–1,500 word personal essay, and two recommendation letters between August 1 and October 19, 2026. Funds may cover tuition, tools, books, and certifications.
