Eligibility
About this scholarship
U.S. citizens, nationals, or permanent residents enrolled or planning to enroll in an accredited HVAC technical program (associate degree, certificate, or diploma) may apply. Minimum 2.0 GPA required. Preference goes to high school seniors and students age 18-26.
The in-person track awards up to 30 scholarships of $2,500 annually for tuition and training costs. A separate online track sponsors up to 50 students with full virtual HVAC program tuition through SkillCat and GRIT Foundation.
In-person applications are always accepted for the next cycle; the 2026 window closed June 15. Online track had a March 2 through April 27, 2026 window now closed. Ten-step online application includes transcript, optional reference, essay or video, and headshot.
