About this scholarship
Final-year, full-time MSW students at CSWE-accredited programs who focus on mental health and/or substance use services for underserved populations may apply. Applicants must commit to at least two years of behavioral-health employment after graduation.
SAMHSA-funded fellows receive a $10,000 stipend plus professional development training, mentorship, and covered travel to required MFP trainings.
The 2026-27 application period is closed; interest survey available for the next cycle. Prior cycles used a spring Submittable deadline.
