Crest and Oral-B Promising Researcher Award

Open to dental students, residents, and graduate researchers conducting oral health research in preventive dentistry at accredited institutions in the United States. Eligible degree paths include D.D.S./D.M.D., advanced dental education, M.P.H., M.S., Ph.D., and foreign equivalents; ADA membership is not required.

One annual award of $5,000 supports conference travel and related expenses (registration, lodging, meals) so the recipient can present findings or build research skills.

Apply online through the ADA Foundation third-party portal when the cycle is open; the 2026 cycle runs through September 18, 2026.
