About this scholarship
Individual artists who are Dallas residents (or maintain a permanent paid studio/workspace in Dallas) may apply for project grants that include a public event open to the community. Artist collectives and eligible nonprofits may also apply under separate tracks.
Individual artists may receive up to $8,000 per project and can be funded twice across the fiscal year's three application rounds.
ArtsActivate 2027 Round 1 opened June 16, 2026 and closes July 20, 2026 at 11:59 PM CST. Additional rounds run in fall 2026 and early 2027.
Dallas Office of Arts and Culture launched ArtsActivate as the city's project-based cultural support program for the 2026-27 fiscal year.
