About this scholarship

Full-time undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in concrete-related degree programs may apply. Fellowship applicants must attend accredited universities in the United States or Canada; scholarship applicants follow the same concrete-related field requirement.

Scholarship recipients receive a $5,000 educational stipend. The 2025-2026 cycle awarded 15 scholarships, including students at U.S. and Canadian universities such as Dalhousie, Concordia, and Toronto Metropolitan University.

Applications for 2027-2028 are open July 1 through November 1, 2026. Required materials include resume, 500-word essay, official transcripts, and two endorsements including one ACI member.

The ACI Foundation, a nonprofit subsidiary of the American Concrete Institute, has supported more than 400 students since 2008.
