About this scholarship
Professional visual artists who are Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or protected persons and Toronto residents for at least one year may apply. Applicants must have one year of independent practice after completing full-time studies and retain full copyright and creative control.
Grants are $10,000 for creation or production of new visual art work or completion of works in progress. Funds cover direct creation costs and materials. One discipline-stream grant per calendar year.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis through TAC Grants Online with results approximately four months after submission. Only one application per year is permitted.
