Professional, emerging professional, and amateur PEI artists may apply for career development funding across crafts, dance, film, music, theatre, visual arts, and writing. Applicants must maintain PEI as their primary residence for at least 12 consecutive months before applying. Full-time degree programs are ineligible.
Annual maximums are $2,500 for established professionals, $2,000 for emerging professionals, and $1,000 for amateur artists bridging toward professional careers. Eligible activities include mentorships, apprenticeships, residencies, workshops, conferences, and portfolio development.
Fall 2026 applications open September 21 at 12 p.m. and close October 19 at 4 p.m. Learn grants require documentation such as program acceptance for training activities.
Innovation PEI administers Learn grants as the professional development stream of the PEI Arts Grants program.
The PEI Learn Grant awards Up to $2,500. It is sponsored by Innovation PEI / PEI Arts Grants.
