BOLT Women in Construction Grant

Women apprentices aged 17 to 29 in construction-sector skilled trades with an active Registered Training Agreement and primary residence in the Greater Toronto Area may apply. Applicants must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents and demonstrate financial need.

Successful recipients receive $1,000 plus connection to a female mentor from their trade. Funds may cover workwear, tools, in-class training, or living expenses.

Applications are accepted year-round in quarterly windows: January-March (awarded April), April-June (awarded July), July-September (awarded October), and October-December (awarded January). The July 2026 quarter is open.

BOLT partners with Support Ontario Youth and Ontario Building & Construction Tradeswomen to fund women entering construction apprenticeships in the GTA.
