About this scholarship
The New Hope Scholarship supports first-generation College of Southern Idaho students whose parents did not complete a college degree. Award amounts reach up to $750 based on GPA and credit completion, and the scholarship is included among more than 300 foundation awards accessed through the CSI General Scholarship Application in MyCSI. Priority applications are due March 1, with second-round consideration through September 1 when funding remains. CSI defines first-generation status on its scholarship FAQ, and recipients must meet foundation merit requirements including a minimum 2.5 GPA and timely registration to retain awards.
