Neville and Gladys Scarfe Memorial Prize

Open to an outstanding student enrolled in the final year of the B.Ed. program who intends to teach social studies.

The award is a $2,500 prize endowed in memory of Neville and Gladys Scarfe by their family and friends. Dean Scarfe was a distinguished scholar in education who headed the newly established Faculty of Education at UBC and maintained an active interest in geography and social studies.

Selection is made on faculty recommendation. There is no separate student application.
