A UBC Vancouver student who has demonstrated commitment to leadership and positive change in the community on and/or off campus may receive this award.

The service award is $1,300, endowed by Dr. Nestor N. Korchinsky. It recognizes the influence an enriching learning environment can have on community members and the opportunity for each person to help shape the communities where they live.

The Student Leadership and Involvement Unit recommends recipients in consultation with Enrolment Services. No separate application is required.
