About this scholarship

Outstanding members of the UBC Vancouver Thunderbird Varsity Football Team in any year of study who have demonstrated excellent leadership and are in good academic standing may be considered.

One or more awards are granted, each ranging from a minimum of $500 to the maximum allowed under athletic association regulations.

There is no separate application. Awards are made on the recommendation of the Athletics Awards Committee.

The award is endowed by the Negrin Family in recognition of their passion for university sport in British Columbia, specifically football.
