About this scholarship
Full-time veterinary students at an accredited institution who have completed two semesters of veterinary education, graduated from a Nebraska high school or a Nebraska-approved homeschool program, and hold at least a 3.0 GPA may apply for Nebraska Veterinary Medical Association scholarships. There are no restrictions based on race, marital status, sex, religious affiliation, or physical limitations.

The NVMA Centennial Scholarship Foundation was established after the Association's Centennial Year in 1996, with seed funding from the sale of limited-edition bronze sculptures. Additional scholarships have been added by contributors, including funds transferred from the Dr. O.H. and Ruth Person Memorial Scholarship.
