Annual national poster competition inviting Canadian students from kindergarten through grade 12 (Quebec secondary 5) to create original Remembrance-themed artwork in colour or black and white. Entries advance through Legion Branch and provincial levels before national judging; national winners in each grade band receive cash prizes up to $1,000 at the senior level plus plaques. Senior first-place winners in each poster category also receive an all-expense-paid trip to Ottawa for the National Remembrance Day Ceremony. Submit hand-drawn or painted work with an official registration form to your local Legion Branch by the branch deadline.

Doctoral students in natural sciences or engineering may apply through Concordia for the NSERC Postgraduate Scholarship / Canada Graduate Research Scholarship Doctoral. Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or protected persons may apply. U.S. and international students may apply if enrolled in the doctoral program. Applicants must have completed no more than 36 months of full-time doctoral study by December 31 of the application year. The award is valued at $40,000 per year for up to three years. NSERC PGS D applications are automatically considered for CGRS D.
