About this scholarship
Guaranteed Belmont merit award for first-year students named National Merit Finalists who enroll at Belmont University. The university provides $24,000 per year, which replaces any previously awarded general academic merit scholarship. Finalists who later become National Merit Scholars may receive an additional $1,000 per year from National Merit, except those receiving a National or Corporate-Sponsored award administered directly by the National Merit Scholarship Program. Notify Belmont of your Finalist status through the admission process. The award renews with full-time enrollment and satisfactory academic progress.
