Students residing in Southern California who are college freshmen or higher, pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree at an accredited U.S. college or university, with Hispanic heritage, a GPA of 3.0 or higher, demonstrated financial need, and community service involvement may apply for the National Hispanic Business Women Association (NHBWA) Educational Scholarship. Applicants need a Gmail or Google-based university email address.
Awards are $500. The number of awards varies.
Complete the application and submit proof of Southern California residency, transcripts showing a 3.0+ GPA, and evidence of community service.
Since 1997, NHBWA has supported women and business owners in Southern California and has awarded more than 230 scholarships to students in the region.
The National Hispanic Business Women Association Educational Scholarship awards $500.

The O'Connor Institute awards $500 to 25 high school Ambassadors in grades 9 through 12 who complete meaningful community service and submit a service story through the free online Ambassadors Civics and Debate Club. Eligible service may include volunteering, organizing, advocacy, or supporting a local cause between January 1 and October 16, 2026. Students who are not yet members may join the Ambassadors club before applying. Winners are announced November 2, 2026 based on service impact and the story submitted.
Biennial international competition for high school students (grades 9–12 or ages 14–20) worldwide exploring bilingualism through research papers, creative writing portfolios, digital art series, or video projects. Ohio 529 CollegeAdvantage sports-partnership sweepstakes open to U.S. residents age 18 or older who agree to official rules. Enter once per 24-hour period per email at the FC Cincinnati landing page for a chance at a $10,000 college savings award deposited into an Ohio Direct 529 account, plus FC Cincinnati prize packs for runner-up winners. F.H. Furr and Monumental Honor award one $5,000 scholarship honoring Medal of Honor recipient James Mifflin to a Virginia student pursuing HVAC, plumbing, electrical, welding, construction, manufacturing, or another skilled trade or continuing-education program.
