About this scholarship
The Nasra Farhataziz Endowed Scholarship at the University of North Texas provides $1,000 to full-time undergraduate students enrolled in any degree-granting major within the College of Science. The endowment honors Nasra Farhataziz, recognizing her spirit of helping others and her chemistry and biochemistry education in Pakistan before decades of community life in Denton. Applicants must meet minimum entrance and continuing academic performance standards of the College of Science at the time of award. Students nearing degree completion may maintain less than full-time enrollment if they have fewer than twice the full-time hours remaining.
