About this scholarship

Graduate students who are members of Green College or St. John's College at UBC Vancouver may be considered for this award supporting international students. Preference is given to students of Green College.

The award is worth $3,000 to $3,500 for one year and is non-renewable. Successful applicants for admission to Green College are automatically considered; the recommendation is made by the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.

The award was endowed in 2004 by Dr. Keith Benson in memory of his father, Norman Harold Benson.
