About this scholarship
Music Scholarships at St. Mary's University provide financial assistance to music majors, music minors, and students participating in performing ensembles including Wind Ensemble, Symphony Orchestra, Concert Choir, Jazz Orchestra, Mariachi, and Rattler Band. Auditions for Fall 2026 are scheduled by appointment after completing the Register to Audition form; audition dates include February 7, March 7, and April 4, 2026. Performers prepare two contrasting pieces. Music faculty evaluate skill, technique, and artistic expression, and recipients are notified by email. Students from all major areas may audition. Remote Zoom auditions are available for distant applicants by contacting the department.
