Morris Menzies Prize in Geological Engineering

Geological Engineering students at UBC Vancouver with outstanding ability and promise in mineral exploration geology who are active in student and departmental affairs may be nominated.

A $250 prize in memory of Morris McCallum Menzies is awarded on department recommendation. Menzies graduated in Geological Engineering in 1949 and earned a Master of Applied Science in 1951. He was a prominent mining geologist and a major supporter of the Geological Sciences Centre on campus.
