Montgomery County Medical Society William W. Lander, MD Medical Student Scholarship

First-year U.S. medical students who are Montgomery County, Pennsylvania residents at high school graduation or for at least four years before medical school registration may apply through the Foundation of the Pennsylvania Medical Society.

Two awards of $2,500 are offered annually.

Submit a roughly 750-word essay, medical-school enrollment verification, and one non-family reference letter documenting integrity and potential as a physician. Applications are accepted July 1 through September 30 each year.

The Montgomery County Medical Society scholarship is funded through contributions from county medical societies, physician members, and the Pennsylvania Medical Society.
