"Mom to Scholar" Scholarship for Mothers

Full-time undergraduate students enrolled at a COSMA-accredited sport management program with at least a 3.5 GPA may apply for the COSMA Student Scholarship. This one-time award provides up to $1,500 toward tuition, fees, or supplies, and the number of recipients varies each year. Applicants submit a 500-word statement on the impact they plan to have on sport management, including career aspirations and how the scholarship will support that goal. The award recognizes students dedicated to improving sport management education.

Idaho high school seniors with a strong record of advancing human rights may apply for up to three merit-based scholarships of $2,500 each. Unigo's All About Education Scholarship awards $3,000 to one U.S. legal resident age 14 or older who is enrolled or will enroll in an accredited postsecondary program. Applicants explain in 250 words or fewer how a $3,000 scholarship would make a difference in their life. Entries are judged on writing quality and creativity. The prize is paid to the winner's accredited institution.

Ohio residents ages 16 to 24 who are children of deceased or severely disabled Ohio veterans who served during a declared war or conflict may receive tuition assistance while enrolled full-time in an eligible Ohio associate or bachelor's program. Students at Ohio public institutions receive funding for 77% of tuition and general fees. Students at private institutions receive an annual award amount set each year by the War Orphans board. The number of recipients varies. Prior recipients must maintain a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA. Apply through the Ohio Department of Higher Education by the May 15 deadline.
