Fredericton campus undergraduate students at UNB who submit an outstanding essay or report on New Brunswick history or biography for a regular course requirement are eligible. Preference goes to work on Miramichi or Northumberland County topics. If none qualify, the award goes to superior work in New Brunswick, Atlantic, or Canadian history.
The prize is worth $1,500, recommended by the Department of History.
