About this scholarship
Ohio Northern University's Ministerial Deduction guarantees eligible students total university scholarships, grants, and awards equal to at least half tuition. Qualifying students are unmarried, legally dependent children under age twenty-five of licensed and ordained United Methodist Elders in full connection under active annual conference appointment, including retired or deceased ministers with the same credentials. A separate application with bishop certification is required; financial need is not a factor. The deduction applies during the first four years of a first baccalaureate degree and coordinates with other aid, which may be adjusted.
