Michigan State University National Merit Scholarship

National Merit finalists who name Michigan State University as their first-choice institution may receive the MSU National Merit Scholarship of $1,000 annually.

Under National Merit Scholarship Corporation rules, students who have been offered any other National Merit Corporation scholarship are not eligible for this MSU award.

Admitted students are generally considered through the National Merit process and MSU's first-choice designation; no separate campus scholarship form is described beyond meeting those conditions.
