Michael W. Stahl Memorial Graduate Scholarship

Open to a UBC Vancouver graduate student conducting research in addiction, depression, or mental illness.

A $5,249.43 scholarship offered by Guenter and Diane Stahl in memory of their son Michael W. Stahl (March 16, 1969 to November 9, 2005) supports research in these areas. Michael died after many years of struggling with alcohol and drug addiction despite progress from treatment for depression.

Awards are made on the recommendation of the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies. There is no separate student application.
