Students in Museum Studies at UBC Vancouver may qualify. The scholarship is $5,050.
There is no separate application. The Department of Anthropology recommends recipients in consultation with the Museum of Anthropology. For graduate students, the Faculty of Graduate Studies is also consulted.
The fund was endowed by volunteers of the Museum of Anthropology Shop and friends in honour of Dr. Michael Ames, Director of the Museum from 1974 to 1997.
