The Metta Heathcote Scholarship, established by a trust fund created by long-time St. Petersburg resident Mrs. Metta Heathcote, is available to Pinellas County residents who graduated from a Pinellas County high school and attend the University of Florida. Awards are based on financial need with preference for St. Petersburg residents. Students are automatically considered when they complete the FAFSA, show need, maintain a 3.0 GPA, and meet donor criteria. SFA selects recipients from the pool of eligible UF undergraduates each aid cycle.
