Renewable Madison County chapter endowed nursing scholarship at The University of Alabama for a student from Madison County admitted to the Capstone's School of Nursing. The fund was established by Lance, HannaJon, and Madalyn Ingram in memory of Meg Ingram, a UA cheerleader who continued supporting her team after brain tumor surgery. Award amounts depend on endowment earnings rather than a published fixed value. Continuing and entering nursing students from Madison County compete through the Alabama Scholarship Award Manager application after UA admission. Complete ASAM by March 2 for current undergraduates or December 5 when applying as an entering freshman.
