Students completing the fourth year of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing at UBC Vancouver who have achieved high standing in at least three courses in community health and education may be nominated. Relevant topics include family studies, human sexual health, community health, women's health, children and child bearing, and principles of education.
Two prizes of $1,200 each are endowed by friends and colleagues in honour of Meg Hickling, R.N., recognizing her 27 years of service as a sexual health educator. Recipients are chosen on the recommendation of the School of Nursing. There is no separate student application.
