About this scholarship
The McConnell Scholarship at the University of Louisville supports Kentucky residents with exceptional records in leadership, scholarship, and service. Ten mentored scholars are selected each year for variable awards up to full in-state tuition plus access to programming valued at more than ten thousand dollars. Applicants must have a 3.5 weighted GPA, higher test-score thresholds than other mentored awards, letters of recommendation, essays, a student-involvement resume, and acceptance into the University Honors Program. The December 1 Gateway deadline applies. Scholars join a cohort focused on leadership development, civic engagement, and mentored undergraduate experiences at UofL.
