Incoming freshmen at the University of Texas at Arlington with a 3.7 or higher cumulative unweighted high school GPA receive holistic review for tiered Maverick Academic Scholarships ranging up to $8,000 per year, renewable up to three additional years.
Non-resident recipients may receive a tuition waiver reducing charges to the in-state level. SAT or ACT submission is optional but encouraged. Apply by the March 1 priority deadline. Renew with 12 credits per semester and a 3.0 GPA.
