About this scholarship
Female undergraduate students entering third year of the Bachelor of Commerce program at UBC Sauder who have achieved outstanding academic merit may be nominated. Preference is given to a student specializing in finance who has a history of community service, plans to pursue a career in finance, and has demonstrated an ability to overcome adversity.
The award is $3,750 offered annually in honour of Maureen Howe. It is made on the recommendation of the UBC Sauder School of Business.
Maureen Howe is a former Managing Director of Equity Research with RBC Capital Markets, serves on boards of Canadian companies and foundations, and is a past recipient of the Association of Women in Finance (AWF) Lifetime Achievement Award.
