Matthew Yip Memorial Award for Outstanding Field Training in Social Work

For an outstanding graduate student in the Master of Social Work program in the School of Social Work in the Faculty of Health and Social Development at UBC Okanagan. Selection is based on academic achievement and excellence in a field placement focused on mental-health issues, with preference for studies focused on depression, anxiety, and suicide.

The listed award value is $2,100. The award is made on the recommendation of the School of Social Work; there is no separate student application.

The award was endowed by family, friends, and colleagues in memory of Matthew Yip, BASc '15.
