Mary Macaree Prize in Agricultural Sciences

Undergraduate students in the Faculty of Land and Food Systems at UBC Vancouver are eligible for this prize, awarded to the student who submits the best undergraduate essay or thesis. The prize is valued at $800 and recognizes excellence in writing and bibliographic research as well as mastery of the subject. There is no student application; the award is made on the recommendation of the Faculty of Land and Food Systems. The prize was endowed by Mary Macaree, Head of the MacMillan Library at UBC from 1968 to 1985.
