About this scholarship

International students from one of the United World Colleges who would otherwise be financially unable to pursue post-secondary education may be considered for this award at UBC Vancouver. Preference is given to graduates of Pearson College UWC. In addition to academic merit, consideration is given to leadership skills, involvement in student affairs, and commitment to community service.

Award values vary. Funding comes from an endowment established by Mary M. Young and the University of British Columbia, with awards totalling $45,800 made available.
