Hazards practitioners, students, and researchers committed to disaster research and practice who live outside North America or the Caribbean may apply for the 2026 Mary Fran Myers Scholarship cycle. Residents of North America and the Caribbean may apply in the next open call. Previous in-person Natural Hazards Workshop attendees are not eligible. Preference goes to applicants who demonstrate financial need.
The award covers part or all of transportation, meals, lodging, and registration for the Natural Hazards Workshop.
