About this scholarship
The Martin Luther King Scholarship is a University of Louisville mentored program for Kentucky and Southern Indiana students who demonstrate a sustained commitment to positive change, civic engagement, and community service. Up to ten scholars receive full in-state tuition plus up to an additional ten thousand dollars per year for educational expenses. Applicants must hold a 3.5 weighted GPA, meet test-score thresholds, apply to the University Honors Program, and submit recommendation letters, essays, and a student-involvement resume by December 1. Scholars participate in leadership development, service, and mentored programming throughout their undergraduate careers at UofL.
