Mark Harris Memorial Scholarship in Film Studies

Open to fourth-year BA Film Studies major or honours students, or graduate students in Film Studies at UBC Vancouver, with preference for students who have demonstrated a passion for cinema.

One scholarship of $2,000. The Department of Theatre and Film recommends recipients, consulting the Faculty of Graduate Studies for graduate students; there is no separate application.

Offered in memory of Dr. Mark Harris (MA 92, PhD 98), a UBC Film Studies instructor and movie critic for the Georgia Straight.
