New SAIT students entering Interactive Design (Graphic Design) or Journalism may apply. You must be a Canadian citizen who is First Nations, Métis, or Inuit, and demonstrate financial need and academic achievement. Applicants must outline their appreciation of and interest in cultural arts such as music, writing, painting, and sculpting, and describe how that interest influences their studies.
Two entrance awards of $10,000 are available. One is for students applying by the August deadline; the other is for students applying by the December deadline.
Apply through mySAIT Student Awards and Financial Aid by August 15 for a Fall start or December 15 for a Winter start.
The Marjory Rebecca Girvin Henderson Memorial Award awards $10,000 (2 winners).
August 15, 2027. Applications submitted after the deadline are typically not considered, so plan to finish early.
