Margaret Ormsby Prize for the Best Essay in British Columbia History

University of the Fraser Valley students may receive this $300 writing prize for the best essay in British Columbia history written within the last 12 months. One award is available.

The paper may cover any aspect of B.C. history, including histories of Indigenous peoples, immigrants, women, art history, historical geography, historical sociology and anthropology, and the history of education. Any student enrolled at UFV is eligible. The Margaret Ormsby Scholarship Committee offers the prize.
