About this scholarship
Open to UBC Vancouver students who have completed first year in Applied Science (Engineering), Forestry, or Science and are proceeding to second year in any of those faculties. Preference is given to students who have demonstrated leadership qualities.
The award is a $1,950 scholarship. It is made on the recommendation of the three faculties on a rotating basis, with no separate student application.
The scholarship honours Mr. and Mrs. Mann Kuan's commitment to education and was endowed by their family.
