About this scholarship
Licensed full-time nurses or teachers with at least three years of experience who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents and currently enrolled in continuing education or an advanced degree (not an undergraduate program) may apply for Mahoney Family Foundation grants.
Grants of up to $5,000 per semester help offset the cost of required continuing education units or advanced degrees.
Submit the online application with a professional development plan, enrollment verification, itemized tuition statement, and a supervisor letter. The foundation supports nurses and teachers dedicated to improving their communities.

- Enrollment verification, official class schedule and itemized tuition statement from the University/Organization providing courses
- Signed letter of support from Principal/Supervisor (one page maximum, on official school/medical facility stationery)
- Undergraduate degrees are not funded
- Applications without complete supporting documents will not be considered
